ما يأتيهم من ذكر من ربهم محدث إلا استمعوه وهم يلعبون سورة: الأنبياء - آية: ( 2 ) - جزء: ( 17 ) - صفحة: ( 322 ) (21:2) They give a mere formal hearing to every new Revelation *3 that comes to them from their Lord and remain engaged in the game (of life) for their hearts are preoccupied (with other matters.) *4 ....... وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَىٰ أُمَمٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَأَخَذْنَاهُم بِالْبَأْسَاءِ وَالضَّرَّاءِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَضَرَّعُونَ﴾ [ الأنعام: 42] Sahih International - صحيح انترناشونال And We have already sent [messengers] to nations before you, [O Muhammad]; then We seized them with poverty and hardship that perhaps they might humble themselves [to Us].
